We've heard a rumor of a Wachovia mailer that threatens that, if Obama wins, the recipient's children's trust funds will go to zero in value. Does anyone have specifics or proof? Please let us know submissions@bachmanneffect.com

Here's a phone call to Wachovia, where they say that Robert D. Jenkins, a retirement planning counselor and the one responsible for sending out the email, is being "dealt with".

Our take on this, so far, is that, while this should NOT reflect on Wachovia, it does give you a glimpse into the mindset of at least one "rogue" McCain supporter.
